Moving Out:  Finding a Storage Solution

Ten years ago, I found myself with the need to move out of my apartment before my new place was ready. For a month, I camped out on my best friend's sofa. That also meant I had to find somewhere to store my furniture and other belongings. Fortunately for me, a local storage facility offered container rentals for reasonable prices. I was able to have a container delivered to my apartment, filled it with my stuff, and then have it transported to a facility. It remained there until my new place was ready. At that point, the service delivered the container and we set to work loading everything in my new home. If your lease is expiring but your new place will not be free for a month or two, let's talk. Temporary storage solutions are easier to come by than you think.

You might have found yourself in a case in which you are in-between homes. You might be living with a family member while your new construction home is being built, or you might be staying in a hotel while you're waiting for your apartment to be available. In these types of scenarios, you'll probably need a place where you can safely and securely store all of your belongings, such as your furniture, clothing, and more. Renting a storage unit temporarily until you are able to move everything into your new home can be a great solution.

You're Preparing for the Holidays

If you are in the process of preparing for the holidays, then you might be worried that you simply don't have enough storage space for everything. You might want to put some of your furniture and year-round decorative items away so that you can bring out all of your holiday decorations. You might be purchasing supplies for big holiday parties and gift wrapping, and you might be looking for a place to store gifts until you are ready to give them to their recipients.
